Obviously we’re brand new, and this is the first year of the competition so we are absolutely DELIGHTED with the line up of people involved to judge the prize. These judges will read the shortlisted entrants and pick their winners, one from each category, next year. This means your entries will be judged by some of the very best names in children’s publishing.

As if we haven’t gone on about it enough – entries are now OPEN for the prize until 31st May and we can’t wait to read them. Visit the dedicated page for more information on how to submit your entry, or follow the hashtag #YWP12 on Twitter to see what conversation has been going on around it.

Good luck everyone and a big thanks to our wonderful judges!
